Many of our USB programming cables require a driver.
Please review the following link and download the
appropriate driver for the operating system you are
running.
* Download "PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1.5.0.zip"
file from above links *
Download automated driver installation
file to your computer.
Connect USB cable to computer.
Run the automated driver installation
file following the screen prompts.
Update the new port number assignment
in your device/radio/control software.
If cable is not recognized by Windows
then reboot your computer for driver to be reinitialized.
In rare circumstances the port assignment and baud
rate in Windows may need to be changed.
The
Prolific driver is contained within the automated
installation file. Therefore, you cannot manually install
the driver from within Windows/Device Manager. Please
follow the above steps for driver installation.
Previously installed Prolifc drivers on your PC may
prevent the new driver from installing. If this occurs you
need to uninstall any Prolfic drivers from your PC.
Motorola OEM USB cables utilize the drivers located
within the original CPS software package and are not
available independently. If you are having issues with
your Motorola CPS, please contact Motorola direct under
the terms of your software license agreement.
